Our Constitution-makers laid down certain guidelines known as Directive Principles of State Policy in the Constitution to be followed by the government while administering the state.
OBJECTIVES OF DIRECTIVE PRINCIPLES OF STATE POLICY
The directive principles constitute the restatement of the ideals mentioned in the Preamble.These guidelines are to be kept in the mind while formulating the various policies.They are essential i the governance of the country and help in establishing a welfare state where equal opportunities are granted to all in the economical, social and educational spheres.
