The Directive Principle of State Policy aims to create social and economical conditions which are favourable for the citizens to lead a good life. They act as a check on the government and help to measure its performance to vote it out of power if they do not fulfill the promises made by them during the elections. The Directive Principles are the non-justiciable rights of the people.
